

ERASMUS+K2 TRAJNOSTNO HORTIKULTURNO OBLIKOVANJE ZUNANJEGA PRIREDITVENEGA PROSTORA
Z izvedbo projekta želimo izboljšati zagotavljanje kakovosti in prilagajanje poklicnega in strokovnega izobraževanja potrebam na trgu dela in digitalizacijo. Oblikovali bomo nov, inovativen učni načrt Trajnostno hortikulturno oblikovanje zunanjega prostora za prireditve z uporabnimi vsebinami v hortikulturi, kmetijstvu, turizmu in gostinstvu. Z novimi znanji se bo lahko izboljšala zaposljivost in oblikovanje novih tečajev. Vsebine bodo na prosto dostopni e-platformi v EN, SI, RS, NL in SK jeziku.
Dejavnosti, ki podpirajo cilje, so:
– vodenje celotnega managementa – pisanje kurikula, priročnika za učitelje in učne vsebine – oblikovanje prosto dostopne e-platforme
– dodatna usposabljanja LTT 1 za učitelje, ki pišejo vsebine in usposabljanja skupaj z vabljenimi učitelji in dijaki različnih smeri
– sinergija znanj na različnih nivojih – zoom in fizični sestanki – testiranje vsebin / učitelji, dijaki, tečajniki
– diseminacija projekta: webinarji, fizični večji dogodki, promocijski material
V okviru projekta bo oblikovan interdisciplinarni modul s pripadajočim kurikulom, priporočili za učitelje in učnimi vsebinami. Analiza učinka je pokazala dober potencial trajnosti uporabe novih vsebin v različnih sistemskih rešitvah: integracija v obstoječe izobraževalne predmete, v okviru samostojnega modula v odprtem kurikulu ali praktičnega usposabljanja na delovišču pri delodajalcih (celoten modul 5KT Europass). Ponudba novih tečajev s specifičnimi vsebinami in pridobitev certifikatov Europass.
Dogodek LTT1 – »učenje, poučevanje in praktično delo« Nizozemska, 12.- 16. 6. 2023
Nizozemska kot zibelka hortikulture nudi največji izbor na področju managementa razvoja novih sort, zaradi svoje specifike – majhnost države, velika populacija, vodni inženiring in omejitev naravnih virov – je njen trajnostni razvoj v smeri varovanja naravnih virov, recikliranja, zelenega gospodarstva izjemen. Hkrati je marketing hortikulture, kmetijstva, turizma zelo razvit. Organiziranje LTT1 na Nizozemskem je bila edinstvena priložnost za udeležence (učitelje, študente), da so se seznanili z različnimi novosti,
rešitvami, različnimi možnostnimi razvoja, metod in pristopov k reševanju problemov.
Cilji:
Cilj je bil prenos specialnih znanj na učitelje, ki poučujejo hortikulturne vsebine, vendar kljub temu da želijo slediti potrebam trga, nimajo dodatnih interdisciplinarnih znanj, ki bodo zdaj skupaj oblikovale nov kurikul. Ta prenos znanj se bo v partnerskih organizacijah širil na dijake, v okviru dodatnih izobraževanj na delodajalce, podjetja in učiteljem pomagal pri delu v projektu.
Dogodek LTT2 – »učenje, poučevanje in praktično delo« v Arboretumu Volčji Potok, Slovenija, 8.- 14. 10. 2023
Na dogodku »učenje, poučevanje in praktično delo« – LTT2 je bil poudarek na praktičnem delu in interdisciplinarnem sodelovanju/ izkušnjah za priporočila za učitelje – navodila dijakom, priprave na praktično delo. Sodelovali so učitelji partnerskih organizacij in dijaki iz Stredne škole Pruske ter Poljoprivredne škole sa domom učenika PK Beograd, učitelji povabljenih slovenskih šol iz poklicno tehniških šol smeri hortikultura, turizem, kmetijstvo, gostinstvo skupaj dijaki. Tako bodo učitelji partnerskih
organizacij dobili nove izkušnje, znanja o prilagoditvi kurikula in priročnika za učitelje za uporabnike s specifičnimi znanji na različnih nivojih. Praktično delo na delavnici je nujno za skupno oblikovanje priporočil za učitelje in specifičnih prilagoditev kurikula.
Cilji:
Praktično delo – Trajnostno hortikulturno oblikovanje zunanjega prireditvenega prostora – Poleg teoretičnega dela je bil na tem LTT2 poudarek na praktičnem delu vseh učiteljev partnerskih šol skupaj z povabljenimi učitelji drugih šol iz Slovenije različnih smeri in dijakov partnerskih in povabljenih šol iz Slovenije. Ob delu so učitelji, ki so napisali kurikul, in priporočila za učitelje dobili nova znanja, kompetence, ki so nujna za končno oblikovanje kurikula in priporočil. Na terenu so se pridobila še mnoga dodatna izkustva, ki pripomorejo k delu v projektu. Povabljeni učitelji bodo sodelovali pri testiranju e- platforme in zato je povezovanje zelo smiselno, saj bodo dobili več informacij o projektu. Rezultat po končani delavnici je tudi fizičen – zasajen prostor, oblikovan po načelih novih učnih vsebin. Ker je to javni park, bo pripomogel k diseminaciji projektnih rezultatov.

Erasmus dnevi – delavnica v Arboretumu Volčji Potok, 15. 10. 2024
Delavnico, na kateri se je izvajala implementacija učnih vsebin, ki so eden od rezultatov Erasmus Projekta Trajnostno hortikulturno oblikovanje zunanjega prostora za prireditve, v že obstoječe izobraževalne programe, sta izvedla dr. Sabina Šegula, Floweracademy.si in Matjaž Mastnak, Arboretum Volčji Potok, s študenti VSŠ Hortikultura, BC Naklo. Na terenu so se testirale učne vsebine: sajenje večjega drevesa, oskrba lesnatih in zelnatih okrasnih trajnic. Študentje so uredili okrasno gredo na prostoru, ki so ga partnerji projekta skupno oblikovali oktobra 2023 v okviru dogodka LTT2. Da bi prostor postal kot učni vrt, so študentje dodali označbe z botaničnimi imeni in sortami rastlinam, ter tako omogočili obiskovalcem, da lahko prepoznajo rastline. Na ta način bodo bolje znali kupiti ustrezne rastline za oblikovanje novih zunanjih prostorov.
Končni rezultat projekta je spletna stran, kjer so zbrane vse učne vsebine, nastale v okviru projekta, ter možnost pridobitve certifikata o pridobljenem znanju na temo trajnostne hortikulturne ureditve zunanjega prireditvenega prostora.

Sodobni trendi nas vse bolj usmerjajo nazaj k naravi, kar se odraža tudi v naraščajoči priljubljenosti prireditev na prostem. V času COVID-19 je ta potreba postala še izrazitejša, s tem pa tudi povpraševanje po znanju s področja trajnostnega hortikulturnega oblikovanja zunanjih prireditvenih prostorov. Cilj projekta je bil zato izboljšati kakovost ter prilagodljivost poklicnega in strokovnega izobraževanja glede na potrebe trga dela in proces digitalizacije. Zaradi novih znanj bo mogoče bolje oblikovati zunanje prostore za prireditve na javnih površinah, v parkih in v okviru podeželskega turizma, hkrati pa bodo zaposleni v gostinstvu in turizmu pridobili boljše kompetence za oskrbo rastlin.
V projektu smo sodelovali naslednji partnerji: Arboretum Volčji Potok (SI), Floweracademy.SI (SI), Floweracademy.NL (NL), Stredná odborná škola Pruské (SK) in Poljoprivredna škola sa domom učenika PKB Beograd (RS). Skupaj smo razvili nov učni modul z naslovom Trajnostno hortikulturno oblikovanje zunanjega prireditvenega prostora, ki vključuje vsebine s področij hortikulture, kmetijstva, turizma in gostinstva. Novi pristopi omogočajo večjo zaposljivost in oblikovanje novih tečajev.
Partnerji smo pripravili kurikul, priporočila za učitelje ter učne vsebine, ki so prosto dostopne na e-platformi v petih jezikih: EN, SI, RS, NL in SK.
Za uspešno realizacijo rezultatov so v projektu potekale številne dejavnosti: usposabljanja učiteljev, predstavitve dobrih praks, delavnice, delovni sestanki, diseminacijski dogodki in testiranja. Pomembno vlogo so imeli tudi zunanji mentorji in njihovi dijaki:

Učne vsebine so razdeljene v pet sklopov:

Po uspešno opravljenem testu iz posameznega sklopa kandidat prejme delni certifikat. Po zaključenih vseh petih sklopih se lahko reši še zaključni test in pridobi generalni certifikat za celoten modul. Če kandidat želi pridobiti tudi dokument Europass, sledi navodilom na spletni strani, kjer ustrezno generira potrdilo s kompetencami, ga skupaj z generalnim certifikatom pošlje odgovorni osebi iz Arboretuma Volčji Potok, ki dokument elektronsko potrdi. S tem kandidat prejme uradno potrdilo, ovrednoteno s 5 KT, ki ga lahko uveljavlja v formalnih in neformalnih izobraževalnih okoljih.
Analiza učinkov je pokazala dober potencial trajnostne uporabe novih vsebin v različnih sistemskih rešitvah – kot del obstoječih predmetov, kot samostojen modul v odprtem kurikulu ali kot praktično usposabljanje pri delodajalcih. Možna je tudi ponudba novih tečajev z usmerjenimi vsebinami in pridobivanjem Europass certifikatov.

ERASMUS+K2 SUSTAINABLE HORTICULTURAL DESIGN OF OUTDOOR EVENT SPACE
By implementing the project, we want to improve quality assurance and adaptation of vocational and professional education to the needs of the labor market and digitization. We will design a new, innovative curriculum, Sustainable horticultural design of outdoor space for events with helpful content in horticulture, agriculture, tourism, and hospitality. With new skills, educational candidates can improve employability, and lecturers will enhance the design of new courses. The contents will be on the freely accessible e-platform in EN, SI, RS, NL, and SK languages.
Activities that support the goals are:
– managing the entire management – writing curriculum, manual for teachers, and learning content – creating a freely accessible e-platform
– additional LTT 1 training for teachers who write content and activity together with invited teachers and students from different disciplines
– a synergy of knowledge at different levels – zoom and physical meetings – content testing/teachers, students, trainees
– dissemination of the project: webinars, major physical events, promotional material
They were offering new courses with specific content and obtaining Europass certificates. The project will create an interdisciplinary module with the associated curriculum, teacher recommendations, and learning content. The impact analysis showed a good potential for the sustainability of new content in various system solutions: integration into existing educational subjects within the framework of an independent module in an open curriculum or practical training at the workplace at employers (the entire 5KT Europass module).
LTT1 event – “learning, teaching and practical work” Netherlands, 12-16.6.2023
The Netherlands, as the cradle of horticulture, offers the largest selection in the field of management of the development of new varieties, due to its specificity – the small size of the country, large population, water engineering and the limitation of natural resources – its sustainable development in the direction of the protection of natural resources, recycling, green economy is exceptional. At the same time, the marketing of horticulture, agriculture and tourism is very developed. Organizing LTT1 in the Netherlands was a unique opportunity for the participants (teachers, students) to get acquainted with various innovations, solutions, various possible developments, methods and approaches to solving problems.
Objectives:
The goal was to transfer specialized knowledge to teachers who teach horticultural content, but despite wanting to follow the needs of the market, they do not have additional interdisciplinary skills, which will now together form a new curriculum. This transfer of knowledge will be extended to students in partner organizations, as part of additional training to employers, companies, and teachers will be helped in their work in the project.
LTT2 event – “learning, teaching, training” in Arboretum Volčji Potok, Slovenia, 8-14.10. 2023
At the event “learning, teaching and practical work” – LTT2, the emphasis was on practical work and interdisciplinary cooperation / experiences for recommendations for teachers – instructions to students, preparation for practical work. Teachers from partner organizations and students from the Secondary School of Prussia and the Agricultural School with a home for PK Beograd students, teachers from invited Slovenian schools from vocational technical schools in the fields of horticulture, tourism, agriculture, catering, together with students participated. So will the teachers of partner
organizations get new experiences, knowledge about adapting the curriculum and teacher’s manual for users with specific skills at different levels. Practical work at the workshop is necessary for the joint creation of recommendations for teachers and specific adaptations of the curriculum.
Objectives:
Practical work – Sustainable horticultural design of an outdoor event space – In addition to the theoretical work, this LTT2 focused on the practical work of all teachers from partner schools together with invited teachers from other schools from Slovenia of various majors and students from partner and invited schools from Slovenia. While working, the teachers who wrote the curriculum and recommendations for teachers gained new knowledge and competences, which are necessary for the final design of the curriculum and recommendations. Many additional experiences were gained in the field, which contribute to the work in the project. The invited teachers will participate in the testing of the e-platform and therefore the connection is very meaningful, as they will get more information about the project. The result after the workshop is also a physical – planted space, designed according to the principles of new learning content. Because it’s public park, will contribute to the dissemination of project results.
Erasmus days – workshop in the Volčji Potok Arboretum, 15 October 2024
During the workshop, students of VSŠ Horticulture, BC Naklo tested on the field learning content created as part of this European project. They tested on the field learning content for planting a larger tree and caring for woody and green ornamental perennials. The students worked on a decorative garden that the project partners jointly designed in October 2023 as part of the LTT2 event. To make the space a learning garden, the students added labels with botanical names and varieties of plants, allowing visitors to identify the plants. In this way, they will be better able to buy suitable plants for the design of new outdoor spaces. The workshop was run by dr. Sabina Šegula, Floweracademy.si and Matjaž Mastnak, Arboretum Volčji Potok.
The final outcome of the project is a website that brings together all the educational materials developed during the project, along with the opportunity to obtain a certificate confirming the knowledge acquired on the topic of outdoor event space planning.

A growing trend in today’s society is a return to nature, with more and more people choosing to organize events outdoors. This trend became even more pronounced during the COVID-19 pandemic, revealing new needs for knowledge in the sustainable horticultural design of outdoor event spaces. The main goal of this project was to enhance the quality and adaptability of vocational and professional education to meet labour market demands and to promote digitalization. Thanks to the new knowledge, it will be possible to improve the design of outdoor spaces for events in public areas, parks, and rural tourism sites, while also enhancing the plant care skills of employees in the hospitality and tourism sectors.
The project partners were: Arboretum Volčji Potok (SI), Floweracademy.SI (SI), Floweracademy.NL (NL), Stredná odborná škola Pruské (SK), and Poljoprivredna škola sa domom učenika PKB Beograd (RS). Together, we have developed a new training module titled Sustainable Horticultural Design of Outdoor Event Spaces, covering practical content in horticulture, agriculture, tourism, and hospitality. This knowledge aims to improve employability and enable the creation of new training courses. We created a curriculum, teacher guidelines, and learning content, which are freely available on the e-platform in five languages: EN, SI, RS, NL, and SK.
To achieve the project results, several activities were implemented: teacher training, good practice presentations, workshops, working meetings, dissemination events, and testing. External mentors also participated in the project together with their students:

The learning content is divided into five thematic sections:
- Infrastructure
- Plant Knowledge
- Plant Application
- Sustainable Design
- Marketing
After successfully completing each section and passing the related test, the learner receives a partial certificate. Upon completing all five sections, the learner can take the final test and obtain a general certificate for the entire module. If the learner wishes to receive a Europass certificate, they follow the instructions on the website, generate the certificate with listed competencies, and send it along with the general module certificate to the project coordinator – Arboretum Volčji Potok – who validates the Europass with an electronic signature. This provides the learner with an official document worth 5 ECVET points, which can be recognized in both formal and non-formal educational settings.
The impact analysis showed a strong potential for sustainable use of the new content in various educational settings: as part of existing subjects, as a standalone module in an open curriculum, or as on-the-job training with employers. The offer of new training courses with specific content and the option of earning a Europass certificate is also foreseen.
