Vrtnica “Radliniec”
Z enojnimi črticami so označena imena sort znanih žlahtniteljev.
Vrtnica je del razstave EU v vrtnicah.

The “Radliniec” Rose
Country of traditional use: Poland
Poland has a continental climate, which is quite difficult for roses due to unforeseen influxes of polar air. Climbing roses, in particular, which are difficult to protect from the cold, do quite poorly in Poland.
The old centifolia rose in front of you has no problems with the cold, however. Since it is of an unknown origin, it was named after the village in which it was found: “Radliniec”. The name is placed inside double quotation marks to indicate that it is a foundling, and not a deliberately cultivated rose.
The rose variety is a part of the exhibition The EU and Rose.
