The Arboretum Volčji Potok will be dressed in a glowing festive look and will be the setting for a unique Evening Walk among the Lights. More than 30 kilometres of lights will be strung across the park’s unique horticultural backdrop, which is more than one million lights in total. Different light scenes will follow each other across the 35 hectares of the park.

This year, we have dedicated more scenes, on 3 hectares, to the youngest children. They will be able to run around the magical land and listen to a new fairy tale told by Santa Claus. Santa has also invited Fairy Marjetka to the park, who will wander around the park and share magical tips. Santa is, of course, accompanied by a troop of reindeer and a host of elves.

Don’t miss a unique photo opportunity in front of the 7-metre-high golden spruce tree and the geometrically designed French garden, which will be given a new shiny dressing with flowers. This year, for the first time, you will be able to enter the 5 metre sphere of light and feel like you are floating among the shining stars. The Spruce Forest will be extended to the Lower English Park and the Miracle Tree will get a starry sky. The Red Maple Lake will take on a truly romantic look with its hearts and lanterns. The wooden nativity scene on the rocky forest edge of Wolf Hill will be even bigger and more picturesque. There will be a social area in the courtyard of the harbour, where you can enjoy a fire, good music, a festive market and warm drinks and culinary delights.

An evening stroll among the lights is possible every day, including weekends and public holidays, between 16 November 2024 and 6 January 2025 from 15.00 to 21.00.
