Guided tours for tourists and for experts can be arranged. Groups are invited to contact us 14 days prior to a planned visit to specify the number of participants so that the guides’ schedules can be adjusted. Guided tours in English, German and Italian are offered. Apart from the entrance fee, the foreign language guidance fee is 150 € per group.
Group guides and bus drivers can enter free of charge. Visitors can leave their cars in the designated spaces in front of the park entrance. Bus parking is also free of charge.
In nice weather from March to October, you can enjoy the park’s sights from the train, which is also very convenient for elderly and disabled visitors. The train can accommodate 40 to 60 people at a time. Groups are required to make an advance booking for the train ride by sending an e-mail to visit@arboretum.si.
In fine weather, an annual café is open in the park, where you can buy hot and cold drinks, ice cream and sweet snacks (phone: 00386 40 350 602). During the spring and tulip shows, several caters serve lunch and snacks.
