Visit the Arboretum Volčji Potok, which impresses visitors of all generations not only with its size and stunning nature, but also with its diversity, rich curtular heritage, numerous events and exhibitions. The largest and most visited flower park in Slovenia offers unique experiences and is an ideal place for relaxation, rest and inspiration.
Covering an area of 80 hectares, the park is home to 5000 different species and and varieties of ligneous plants and more than 1200 varieties of roses, and in spring tulips bloom every year. The variety of flowers and plants will enchant even the most demanding visitors. We have a special offer for travel agencies that is not to be missed.

The benefits apply to groups of more than 20 people, provided that payment is made collectively for all members. Payment at the ticket office can be made in cash, by card, or by voucher. By paying in advance – based on a pro forma invoice – you can avoid waiting at the ticket office.
Foreign language tour
Visit the Arboretum Park with a guided tour. We offer one-hour guided tours in Slovenian, Croatian, English, Italian, French, Hungarian and German.
A guided tour in foreign language costs 150 €. To arrange a guided tour of the park, please contact us at least 14 days before your visit, by writing to e-mail adress visit@arboretum.si.
Park tour by train
From March to October, you can enjoy the park’s sights from the electric train, which is also very convenient for elderly and disabled visitors. The round takes 40 minutes.
Price: 4 €/person
The train can accommodate up to 56 people at a time. Larger groups are required to book multiple time slots. Train reservations must be made at least 14 days prior to arrival by contacting visit@arboretum.si.

Spring flower and tulip exhibition
Spring is a time when nature comes alive in all its colors and scents and is experienced in a very special way every year at the Arboretum Volčji Potok. In addition to tulips, the exhibitions also offers a wide range of other springs flowers and flowerings trees, such as daffodils, hyacinths, magnolias, Japanese cherries and many other species that create a true spring symphony together.
Summer among roses
The colorful petals of roses caress the eyes and the stunning scent awakens the senses. Wrapped in greenery and protected by thorns, they are waiting for admirers. The summer sun encourages them to open their blossoms and gently flaunt their intoxicating beauty.
Colorful Autumn
Experience a colorful autumn in the park, where the season is intertwined with botany, silence and beauty. Every year, we prepare an exhibition of pumpkins and an enchanted park that impresses both adults and children.
An evening walk among Christmas lights
From November to January, let the illuminated trees and reflections on the lake surfaces enchant you and let the magical path of lights guide you through the park. Treat yourself to unforgettable moments for all generations.
