The Flower Orchestra Returns in a New Form

The Flower Orchestra returns to Arboretum Volčji Potok in an expanded Biosonus format – as a multi-hour ambient sound experience bringing together living systems, art, technology and light.

Using sensors and electronics, the bioelectrical and electrochemical processes of plants are translated into sound and become part of evolving soundscapes. The programme will feature Nastja Ambrožič with a biosonification workshop, UKI, Noitu and Gødec, while the evening atmosphere will be complemented by lighting design by Tilen Sepič.

The event will also offer an opportunity to spend a relaxed afternoon and evening surrounded by greenery, listening, sitting and enjoying the park. Food and refreshments will be available on site, provided by Kavarna Arboretum

The event is free of charge; visitors only pay the regular park admission fee. Seasonal passes are valid.
