Vrtnica ‘Moje Hammarberg’
Država nastanka: Švedska
V hladnih pokrajinah severne Švedske preživi in cveti malo sort vrtnic.
Takšnim vrtnicam v vrtnarskem jeziku pravimo rugoze. So odlična izbira za večji sonaraven vrt, kjer rastline za svoje zdravje skrbijo same.
Sorta ‘Moje Hammarberg’ cveti večkrat v poletju.

The ‘Moje Hammarberg’ Rose
Country of origin: Sweden
Few varieties are able to survive and bloom in the cold territories of Northern Sweden. Experience shows that the most reliable rose variety in those parts is ‘Moje Hammarberg’. It was created in Sweden in 1931.
It is a rose bush, which grows up 1.5 tall and equally wide. It is based on the Japanese rose, with the botanical name Rosa rugosa. Horticulturalists call these roses rugosas. They are an excellent choice for an organic garden, where it is the plants that take care of their own health.
The ‘Moje Hammarberg’ flowers several times over the summer. The blossoms are eventually replaced with big, beautiful and substantial rosehips. They have all the uses of common rosehips, but are picked much earlier.
The rose variety is a part of the exhibition The EU and Rose.
